Unregistered and unauthorized art event, "M120, Moganshan re-used" did not get disturbed officially during Expo period on July 18 2010 in Shanghai, China! Miracles do happen!

We installed art works. In the rubble. On destructed walls. People who still live there came outside to look and ask questions during the installation. People who don't live there anymore came as well. A woman pointed out a shelter where she lived for 34 years.

The sun set and the audience grew. Since we were not able to advertise this guerilla art event because of weather reasons and of course of  the guerilla part of it, - still about 250 locals, visitors, art lovers and artists attended the event.

Shanghai has never seen anything like this. And to proof it right, art doesn't need withe walls and art can be a tool for communication on all levels.

一个未经任何官方许可的艺术事件——“M120 莫干山路120再创造！”在2010年7月18日的世博会期间的中国上海竟然发生了！奇迹真的发生了！
我们展览艺术。在一堆废墟中。在一面破损的墙体。老居民在我们安装时也出来看并问了许多问题。不住在那里的人也来了。一个妇人指着一处废墟，她曾经在那里住了34年。
太阳下落，越来越多人来了。因为我们无法大力去告知这个游击式的活动，因为天气也因为它的游击气质。然而，仍有250多老居民，艺术热爱者，艺术家们赶到现场。
感谢每一个来的人。感谢那些参加的艺术家们。我们有那么来自那么多不同国家的朋友一起。上海很少体验这样特殊的一个事件。再一次证明，艺术并不一定需雪白的墙，同时，艺术可以成为任何一个阶层／群体里沟通的工具。
感谢Konstatin Bayer一直如此保持清醒和信仰！
